Resume

During and after my MBA studies I worked for Hamilton College, a private four-year liberal arts college located in Upstate NY.

Following my years at Hamilton College I joined a small but fast growing company focused on technology training to organizations across North America, providing training to over 60% of the Fortune 100 companies and highlighted on the Inc. 5000 list for three years in a row.

After a stint in self-employment I joined BrieBug as Chief Technology Officer where I provided the technical leadership and strategies for Denver's premier Angular and mobile app consulting company.

I understand business and can align technical solutions and strategies with business objectives, both short-term and long-term.

Education

I graduated from the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Technology Management. I graduated magna cum laude for the MBA program with a GPA of 3.8.

BrieBug, Inc. Chief Technology Officer

I served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for BrieBug, Denver's premier Angular consulting company for 18 months. As the CTO I provide technical leadership and strategic direction for projects, effective planning of projects using an Agile approach, and work side-by-side intelligent engineers building solutions for our clients.

Webucator, Inc. Chief Technology Officer

I served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Webucator, Inc. for 9 years. Webucator is a small company that delivers on-location and online technical and business training. We all worked from home, but the company is primarily located in Syracuse, NY. As the CTO I managed the web development and information technology services. This included several internal systems, as well as several external systems that are used by clients, trainers, partners and vendors.

At Webucator, I built the web systems that run a $4m business from the ground up using Object-oriented design principles, including a custom MVC framework that reduces cycles of development work on a daily basis. I created solutions that met the business objectives and operational flow of the business using a variety of languages and resources.

I also designed and built a private cloud to provide Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) to our Microsoft training clients, enabling them to have customized online environments for lab exercises. This was built from the ground up using multiple fail-over virtualization servers using Hyper-V and a SAN with over 20TB of usable storage.

Hamilton College Web Integration Specialist

Hamilton College is a national leader in teaching students to write effectively, learn from each other and think for themselves. At Hamilton College, I created a variety of web applications that served the administration, staff, alumni and students. I led the redevelopment of MyHamilton, the student portal used by all prospective and current students, using Ajax and JavaScript techniques. I also led the development and implementation of a campus-wide grant accounting system, as well as an emergency notification system.
